The winegrowing tradition at our estate reaches back over 14 generations to the year 1558. Martin Conrad, whose grandfather was one of the founder members of the Bernkasteler Ring, has been in charge of growing and making wine at our estate since 1998.
Wine estate Martin Conrad has been certified as a quality business according to the standards of “ServiceQualität Deutschland” as well as those of “Qualitätsbetrieb MOSEL Weinkulturland”.
„At our estate the wine lover can discover spontaneously fermented wines with natural residual sugar (no addition of sweet reserve must), which exhibit the unmistakable character of each individual site like a DNA of the vineyard. Since 1999 all wines are being vinified in accordance with VEGAN standards, we do not use any animal-based fining agents. Our wines have an excellent aging potential of at least ten years or even more!“

Accommodation at the estate
The idyllic country hotel and restaurant “Brauneberger Hof” has been managed by my mother Hilde since 1991 and is renowned for being one of the best in the region. There are 18 comfortable rooms and a small wellness oasis with sauna, massage and yoga. In recognition of our excellent service, appealing ambience and the use of regional products, our hotel and wine estate have been awarded the status of quality business by the “MOSEL WeinKulturLand” initiative.
