Wine estate Loersch

The Leiwener winery with its attached guesthouse is picturesquely situated high above the Mosel valley in the Zummethöhe district. A fantastic panoramic view of one of the most beautiful Moselle bends opens up to the visitor here. 12 slate vineyards and 7 villages can be viewed from the new vinotheque with panoramic terrace (Rieslingskylounge). A unique view that will amaze every visitor. Winegrowing in the family can be traced back to the year 1640. Since 2002 Alexander Loersch is responsible for the development of the wines, who took over the winery from his father Ernst-Albrecht Loersch in 2009. His philosophy of unique spontaneously fermented Rieslings, from the steep slopes of the Mosel, characterized by the terroir and the minerality of the slate are the basis for all wines, from the basic wine to the Grosses Gewächs and noble sweet selections.

Eichelmann

„Alexander Loersch has surpassed himself, one of the rising stars of the year. ...However, it is already clear that Alexander Loersch is one of the best wineries of the Mosel.“
