At the tender age of 20 Markus Molitor took charge of our estate, which with its 100 ha of vineyard today represents one of the largest family-owned estates of the Mosel. Uncompromising, precise quality craftsmanship – coupled with total respect for nature – are the guiding principle in all our activities in the vineyard and in the cellar.

In keeping with the philosophy of natural winegrowing, site-specific individuality, complexity and aging potential, all our wines are fermented with ambient yeasts and without addition of any fining agents or enzymes.

Does one have to be crazy to produce 10 Trockenbeerenauslesen in one vintage? In the most positive sense of the word Markus Molitor is obsessed, always striving to make his wines better and better.

Gault&Millau, 4 grapes
